You will need to identify the IP address of the clock and enter this same IP address into the Time clock profile screen within Clockcomms in the maintenance center.

What is the best barcode symbology when using job costing?
The recommended barcode symbology is code 128 as it has a better validation identifier. However, code 39 (Code 3 of 9) is suitable.

How easy is it to use the G6 Bio time clock?
Very simple.
The employee enters their employee number (at least 2 digit number) and press the enter key. This number identifies the employee, the employee is then prompted to place their pre-registered finger on to the sensor. The time clock then compares the finger scan with the pre-registered scan. If the scan matches – the employee clocking is saved, if the scan doesn’t match then the employee is prompted to try again.
This whole process takes 3 to 5 seconds.
Does the uninstall for ClockComms remove the registry settings?
Yes,when an unistall is performed for clock comms it will remove / delete all dependences and registries.
Does the biometric clock have siren capability?
Yes, our G6 Series bio-metric clock does have the functionality of scheduling bell times for lunch breaks and start and end of shifts etc
